Walking is terrific for your general health. As it's a type of cardio workout, you'll burn up calories while also melting off the fat and improving your cardiovascular health. Walking is so much easier on your joints than running. My brother is very lean (but he consumes a good deal of junk food) and I ask him how he he can stay slim.
